The 13th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion is being held at the Born Cultural Center in the Catalan capital. The Catalan firm Mango fired the starting-pistol Monday night for the event for the Fall-Winter season 2014-2015 collections of 34 designers and brands.
On this occasion, in order to unveil the highlights for Spring/Summer 2014, the Catalan firm had chosen the international top-model Alessandra Ambrosio. Additionally, the firm gave a first showing of their line Mango Kids.
681 journalists accredited from 259 media- more than 26 percent international
A total of 681 journalists and professionals from 259 different media have been accredited for the event. 191 from Catalonia and Spain and 68 international from the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico Colombia, Brazil, USA, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Chile and China.
With regards to the commercial reach of the event, a total of 149 buyers, including representatives from retail and purchase companies, 25 of which are international, (17 percent approximately, from the USA, Russia and Lithuania, amongst others).
The following days, Catalan designers like Custo Barcekina, and brands like Desigual and TCN will unveil their respective collections for Spring/Summer 2014.
